About the Role
We are looking for an Analytics Engineer to join CookUnity's data team. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining data products that serve as reliable sources of truth for the business. You will work with modern data stacks and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, build, and maintain dbt models in Snowflake that reflect key business logic
- →Develop trustworthy, scalable models that serve a wide range of stakeholders
- →Monitor pipelines and implement testing to ensure consistent data quality
- →Collect and act on feedback to continuously improve data products
- →Champion the use of agentic and AI-assisted tools in data workflows
- →Work with Engineering, Product, and Ops to align on metrics and data needs
- →Mentor team members and share knowledge to elevate the craft of Analytics Engineering
Requirements
- ✓4+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or similar roles
- ✓Deep understanding of data modeling principles and ELT best practices
- ✓Proficiency in SQL and version control (Git)
- ✓Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders
- ✓Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau and a passion for self-serve data culture
- ✓Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
