About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join Coupang Eats, the core frontend team powering Coupang's web platform. This role involves designing and developing web applications across multiple business verticals, serving both Korea and Japan markets.
Key Responsibilities
- →Participate in the design and development of Coupang’s web platform and related products
- →Independently own the design and implementation of medium-complexity modules
- →Take responsibility for module-level performance optimization and code quality improvements
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient delivery of business requirements
- →Help diagnose and resolve functional issues and performance bottlenecks
- →Keep track of frontend technology trends and introduce them to improve delivery efficiency
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of total experience
- ✓5+ years of web frontend development experience with large-scale internet applications
- ✓1–2 years of experience as a core contributor or technical lead
- ✓Proficiency in at least one mainstream frontend framework (React, Vue, etc.)
- ✓Familiarity with backend API design and debugging workflows
- ✓Experience with frontend engineering tools (Webpack, Vite, Babel, CI/CD, etc.)
- ✓Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills, English workable
