About the Role
Crusoe is seeking a Contract Specialist to manage procurement and contracting for large equipment, utilities, and power-generation needs. This high-impact role requires strong prioritization and the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- →Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts for major capital equipment, utilities, and power-generation assets and services
- →Partner with engineering, projects, finance, and legal to define commercial terms, payment milestones, warranties, SLAs, and risk allocation
- →Lead negotiations and manage the execution of various agreements, including MSAs, AIA agreements, and master procurement agreements
- →Create and maintain negotiation playbooks to accelerate turnaround times
- →Assess commercial risks and recommend mitigations
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of hands-on commercial contracting or procurement experience
- ✓Experience negotiating commercial terms and managing large, complex agreements
- ✓Background in data center, utilities, power generation, construction, or similar industries
- ✓Proficiency with contract lifecycle management systems (Ironclad experience is highly desirable)
- ✓Strong Microsoft Office skills (including Excel) for tracking and reporting
- ✓Excellent command of contract language, commercial risk assessment, and negotiation strategy
