About the Role
Dandy is hiring a Platform Engineer to join our rapidly scaling technology organization. You will play a key role in designing and building scalable infrastructure and systems to support our growing product engineering function.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop and maintain infrastructure, systems, and tooling for Dandy’s products
- →Improve developer experience and productivity across software repositories
- →Collaborate with stakeholders to influence objectives and long-term goals
- →Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance
- →Craft code that meets internal standards for style and maintainability
- →Recognize and address technical debt by proposing and implementing solutions
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in a high-growth startup
- ✓Experience with Public Cloud Infrastructure (GCP preferred, AWS, Azure) and Kubernetes
- ✓Experience creating and maintaining automated CI/CD build processes
- ✓Experience with infrastructure as code platforms (Terraform, Pulumi)
- ✓Experience designing cloud infrastructure architecture and automation
- ✓Experience with observability platforms (metrics, logging, tracing)
- ✓Collaborative, pragmatic, and growth-oriented mindset
- ✓Ability to communicate complex technical problems and propose solutions
- ✓Experience with performance optimization and prevention
- ✓Comfort working in agile, iterative development processes
- ✓Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
