About the Role
Dandy is hiring Senior Software Engineers to join our rapidly scaling technology organization. This role involves developing next-generation experiences across the Dandy Supply Chain stack, which is the backbone of the manufacturing side of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- βDevelop features and improvements to Dandyβs products in a secure, well-tested, and performant way
- βCollaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders to maintain a high bar for quality
- βDevelop order routing logic to deliver the correct order at the correct time
- βPartner with manufacturing automation on projects such as CAD -> CAM automation
- βSupport the ability to provide real-time data on the status of an order
- βBuild rules and software capabilities to smooth demand and optimize workloads
Requirements
- β6+ years of full stack software engineering experience, preferably in a high growth startup environment
- βSubstantial experience with backend asynchronous systems
- βExperience with logistics and operational domains
- βExperience with large and complex production systems
- βStrong ability to operate with minimal oversight
- βAbility to understand how our business functions and address challenges through Engineering
- βA collaborative, pragmatic, and growth-oriented mindset
- βExperience with performance and optimization problems
- βComfort working in a highly agile, intensely iterative software development process
- βEffective communication skills
- βExperience owning a project from concept to production
- βSelf-motivated and self-managing, with excellent organizational skills
- βAbility to thrive in a remote-first organization
