About the Role
We are looking for an AI Forward Deployed Engineer to join our specialized customer-facing AI team at Databricks. This role involves delivering professional services to help customers build and productionize innovative AI applications.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop cutting-edge GenAI solutions using the latest techniques from Mosaic AI Research
- →Own production rollouts of consumer and internally facing GenAI applications
- →Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers across various domains
- →Present at conferences such as Data + AI Summit
- →Collaborate with product and engineering teams to influence priorities and shape the product roadmap
Requirements
- ✓Experience building GenAI applications including RAG, multi-agent systems, Text2SQL, and fine-tuning
- ✓Expertise in deploying production-grade GenAI applications with evaluation and optimization
- ✓Extensive hands-on industry data science experience with tools like pandas, scikit-learn, and PyTorch
- ✓Experience building production-grade machine learning deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP
- ✓Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent practical experience
- ✓Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- ✓Passion for collaboration, lifelong learning, and driving business value through AI
- ✓Preferred: Experience using the Databricks Intelligence Platform and Apache Spark
