About the Role
We are looking for a Workday Integration Engineer to join our Workday Integration team at Databricks. This role involves developing and maintaining integrations that connect Workday to various internal and external systems, supporting HR systems and ensuring they scale with Databricks growth.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, build, and maintain scalable Workday transformations using Workday Studio, Extend, Core Connectors, and EIB
- →Serve as a subject matter expert on integration architecture, development patterns, and best practices across the Workday ecosystem
- →Lead technical planning, development, deployment, unit testing, and support of new and existing integrations
- →Configure and optimize PECI integrations, including custom fields, mapping logic, and file formats
- →Investigate integration failures, perform root cause analysis, and communicate findings to stakeholders
- →Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to define integration requirements and ensure security and compliance
- →Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation, including version control, test plans, and CI/CD processes
- →Contribute to the ongoing evolution of our Workday strategy
Requirements
- ✓7+ years of experience in software or integration engineering, including deep Workday expertise
- ✓Experience with at least one full Workday implementation
- ✓Proficiency in Workday Studio, Extend, EIB, Core/Cloud Connectors, PECI, and Workday Web Services
- ✓Strong skills in XML, XSLT, JavaScript, SOAP/REST APIs, SQL, and data transformation
- ✓Ability to lead cross-functional projects and communicate with stakeholders at all levels
- ✓A collaborative mindset with a focus on inclusion, reliability, and continuous improvement
- ✓Workday certifications as a bonus
