About the Role
We are looking for an Event Content Manager at Databricks to guide the session content workstream for corporate events including Data + AI Summit. This role ensures the delivery of first-class, valuable, engaging, and high-impact session content with a strong focus on operational excellence to achieve scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- →Drive the strategy and delivery of high-quality session content experience for corporate events at Databricks
- →Analyze content consumption and conversion to create and develop a content strategy
- →Collaborate with Databricks' Dev Rel team to lead the OSS community to get state-of-the-art content submissions
- →Oversee all content operations including call for presentations, track organization, speaker/session selection, and scheduling
- →Collaborate on event marcom, contributing to email and promotional comms
- →Work with logistics, AV, and infrastructure teams to improve room and session sizes
- →Create various reports that share key findings throughout content development and post-event cycles
- →Develop strong relationships with the event team and other cross-functional teams
Requirements
- ✓8+ years of experience in event content management
- ✓Knowledge of event content pillars and best practices
- ✓Efficient project management skills to build cohesive plans
- ✓Strategic mindset relying on data to drive strategy
- ✓Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- ✓Deep understanding of the process and tools for content management
- ✓Comfortable presenting on a complex workstream
- ✓Experience with Salesforce.com, Google Suite, Asana, Tableau, Marketo, Rainfocus, Swoogo, etc.
