About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Security Assurance Engineer to join Databricks’ Security Risk Management and Special Projects team. This role involves leading high-visibility security compliance and risk management initiatives, ensuring alignment with global security objectives.

Key Responsibilities

→Drive Project Outcomes: Lead the end-to-end delivery of new security certifications to expand Databricks’ reach across global markets.
→Accelerate Execution: Proactively identify and neutralize project blockers to maintain high velocity in a cloud-native environment.
→Orchestrate Cross-Functional Decision Making: Navigate complex technical and compliance trade-offs to drive consensus across teams.
→Optimize Delivery Methodologies: Refine project frameworks to maximize effectiveness.
→Precision Program Management: Oversee project lifecycles, including milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation.
→Build Strategic Partnerships: Forge collaborative relationships with Security Assurance experts and stakeholders.

Requirements

✓4+ years of experience in technical program/project management within the security domain.
✓Demonstrated success in leading high-stakes security compliance initiatives (e.g., FedRAMP, PCI, HIPAA).
✓Experience navigating projects with intricate technical dependencies and multiple stakeholders.
✓Ability to influence and communicate effectively across technical and leadership teams.
✓A proven track record of mastering new processes, methodologies, technologies, and security frameworks.
✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
