About the Role
We are looking for a Data Application Product Specialist to join our team in the Asia Pacific and Japan region. This role focuses on defining technical go-to-market strategies and driving adoption of our data application stack.
Key Responsibilities
- →Define technical go-to-market strategy for data application products
- →Drive adoption of our data application stack in the Asia Pacific and Japan region
- →Work directly with customers to guide and influence their data application architecture and decisions
- →Present, demo, and pitch our Databricks data application product suite
- →Act as a trusted advisor for senior executives
- →Support field engineering teams internally
- →Help define product direction based on local knowledge
- →Inform product strategy with go-to-market field teams
- →Lead a group of specialists across the field
- →Be a thought leader externally via conferences, webinars, and blog posts
- →Meet with customers to communicate the vision and gather feedback
Requirements
- ✓10+ years of experience in application development
- ✓Familiarity with modern AI-Apps architecture
- ✓Deep technical knowledge of database technologies (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
- ✓Experience with application frameworks (Python, Node.js, Streamlit, Dash, React, Angular, etc.)
- ✓Deep technical understanding of software engineering and data application development practices
- ✓Experience as a trusted advisor to technical executives
- ✓Proven track record of successful pre-sales experience
- ✓Ability to define and execute strategic programs cross-functionally
- ✓High impact communication skills internally and externally
