About the Role
We are looking for a Product Designer for AI Observability at Datadog to own the end-to-end design of AI Observability tools. This role involves enabling AI developers to experiment with, optimize, and evaluate LLMs through their development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- →Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and design to understand customer needs.
- →Act as an end-to-end product designer, from sketching to production.
- →Create intuitive interaction designs using tools like Figma, Framer, and Protopie.
- →Utilize research methodologies to enhance AI experiences across various platforms.
- →Communicate design work and decisions internally.
- →Maintain a Figma UI Toolkit for conversational experiences.
- →Work closely with engineering teams to understand and QA designs.
Requirements
- ✓10+ years of experience in digital product design.
- ✓Track record of owning projects end-to-end.
- ✓Strong visual design skills and ability to craft robust interactions.
- ✓Deep curiosity about emerging technologies and their impact on human-computer interaction.
- ✓Excellent communication skills to build buy-in for design strategies.
- ✓Strong facilitation skills to collaborate across teams.
- ✓Experience in a dynamic, startup-like environment.
- ✓Mastery of modern UX/UI tools like Figma.
