About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join Datadog's technical solutions team. This role involves providing hands-on technical services to our largest customers, supporting product adoption, and acting as a trusted advisor on how IT Operations translates to business value.
Key Responsibilities
- →Advise on technical support and product adoption for customers in line with pre-sales, post-sales, and renewal processes
- →Analyze customer IT Operations environment and provide recommendations to maximize Datadog’s value
- →Advocate for customers by understanding their goals and suggesting process changes, product adoption, and configuration
- →Participate and prepare for Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews with customers
- →Collaborate with product management, engineering, and technical services teams to identify new features and products
- →Continuously evolve best practices for technical product adoption and customer success
Requirements
- ✓Solid technical grounding and hands-on experience in IT Operations
- ✓Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- ✓Comfortable with scripting languages like Python, Javascript, Ruby, Perl, Go, PHP, or Chef/Puppet
- ✓Skilled in using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Gitlab
- ✓Knowledgeable about containerization tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or Rancher
- ✓Able to travel up to 30% of the time, including client site visits
- ✓Previous experience as a TAM supporting mid-market and/or Enterprise customers in the cloud space
- ✓Experience using Datadog and/or other cloud monitoring tools
