About the Role
We are looking for a Data Scientist to join Decagon, the leading conversational AI platform. This role involves bringing deep technical rigor to data analysis, testing, and application across the business, directly informing product strategy and company performance.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build and maintain foundational datasets and metrics for Decagon's AI platform
- →Enhance and extend data models, metrics, and dashboards for consistent reporting
- →Partner with Engineering to shape strategy through data
- →Collaborate with Product and Engineering to embed experimentation and measurement best practices
- →Build and improve Decagon’s data stack for self-serve analytics
- →Communicate findings clearly to executives and stakeholders
- →Conduct quantitative investigations for incident analysis
- →Evaluate and interpret ML model performance
- →Drive experimentation culture at Decagon
Requirements
- ✓Strong ability to structure problems and deliver business impact through data
- ✓Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python with a solid foundation in statistics
- ✓5+ years in data science or product analytics roles
- ✓Ability to analyze machine learning models
- ✓Proven track record in large-scale backend or infrastructure systems
- ✓Comfort building operational analytics and partnering with data engineering
- ✓Excellent communication skills
