About the Role
We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our team at Deel, the all-in-one payroll and HR platform for global teams. This role focuses on building scalable backend systems that support our industry-leading products.
Key Responsibilities
- →Collaborate in a cross-functional team with Frontend Engineers, Product Teams, Designers, and QA professionals
- →Participate in product planning from discovery to deployment
- →Develop and enhance features, APIs, and continuously improve our products
- →Provide an exceptional, customer-centric experience through quality engineering
Requirements
- ✓Expertise in Backend Development with Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript
- ✓Database Mastery with PostgreSQL, including query optimization and database modeling
- ✓Solid grasp of OOP and design patterns
- ✓Experience in designing scalable systems for high transaction volumes
- ✓API development skills with input validation, JWT tokens, and queue-based systems
- ✓At least 8 years of experience as a Software Engineer
