About the Role

We are looking for a Customer Success Manager to join our Retention Segment of the Scale Team at DeepL, a global AI product and research company. This role focuses on maintaining and growing important customer relationships in one of Europe’s fastest growing technology companies.

Key Responsibilities

→Manage around 50 accounts, with the number increasing thanks to automation
→Build long-term relationships with senior stakeholders
→Conduct technical and commercial conversations with various teams
→Own onboarding and drive product adoption within a subset of our customer base
→Collaborate with Account Executives to identify growth potential
→Educate customers on API usage
→Advocate for customers across DeepL teams
→Troubleshoot inquiries efficiently
→Meet and exceed quarterly adoption, retention, and advocacy targets
→Work cross-functionally with DeepL leadership

Requirements

✓Relevant experience managing client relationships at senior levels
✓3+ years of customer success experience, ideally with a focus on retention
✓1+ years of sales/account management experience, ideally with a focus on renewals and upsell/cross-sell
✓Experience with APIs and comfort working with customers who integrate our solutions
✓Fluency in German and English – knowledge of Spanish and/or French would also be beneficial
✓Experience in the Software/SaaS industry is preferred
✓Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills
✓A strong drive to learn and grow, with a curious mindset
✓Ability to thrive in a scale-up environment
✓A team player who supports colleagues and contributes to a positive culture
