About the Role
We are looking for a Customer Support Leader to join our team at DeepL, a global AI product and research company focused on building secure, intelligent solutions. This role focuses on driving the regional vision for EMEA Customer Support and building high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- →Drive the regional vision for EMEA Customer Support, translating global goals into a regional strategy
- →Own EMEA Customer Support outcomes across several teams, ensuring critical regional programs land on time with real impact
- →Coach and develop a team of team leaders/managers, strengthening their ability to lead through change
- →Champion a culture of continuous upskilling, creating professional development opportunities for specialists
- →Uncover operational "leaks" and evolve more mature, scalable workflows
- →Mature how we measure success in EMEA, using data to guide regional priorities
- →Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Professional Services to support customers throughout their journey
- →Partner with Product and Engineering to spot patterns behind customer pain and drive improvements
- →Lead through evolution, guiding teams through product launches and organizational shifts
Requirements
- ✓Significant leadership experience in Customer Support/CX, with a track record of successfully managing managers in high-growth tech environments
- ✓Experience evolving support models through specialization, premium service design, workflow optimization, and automation
- ✓Proven ability to build trust and influence with cross-functional peers and senior stakeholders
- ✓Experience designing and evolving team structures, developing leaders and specialists, and creating clear growth paths
- ✓Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on problem-solving, identifying operational friction and improving workflows
- ✓Customer-first, outcome-driven mindset, using customer insights and operational signals to prioritize what matters most
