About the Role
The Gemini Apps Analytics Infra team is responsible for providing critical telemetry about the Gemini web and mobile apps. The data produced is key in evaluating the performance of new Gemini model candidates and product features, providing leadership with an accurate understanding of product performance, and enabling the Gemini App org to make well-informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build and run scalable systems for analytics infrastructure
- →Utilize infrastructure like Flume, Dreampipe, Conduit, and more
- →Deliver datasets at scale to drive Gemini Apps’ high-priority efforts
- →Work with Data Science, model release, model quality, and feature teams
- →Provide high-quality data to solve key problems
- →Support shipping cutting-edge models to users
Requirements
- ✓C++ proficiency
- ✓Experience developing, debugging, and supporting large-scale data pipelines
- ✓Interest in data and data quality, attention to detail
- ✓Willingness to carry a pager for production systems
- ✓Go proficiency (advantage)
- ✓Experience with Conduit, Dreampipe, Lavaflow, Napa, Rasta, F1 (advantage)
- ✓Experience working in the analytics domain (advantage)
