About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join Google DeepMind, focusing on designing and developing experimental and stable front-end solutions for early-stage AI research. This role involves leveraging prompt engineering to build cutting-edge, AI-driven workflows and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work closely with UX Designers, Researchers, PMs, and UXEs to implement versatile front-end solutions to tackle tough problems.
- →Engage in prompt engineering to create innovative AI-driven user experiences and design dynamic workflows and collaborative tools.
- →Design, develop, test, and iterate on stable but experimental front-end code for new user-facing features.
- →Take ownership of the front-end implementation, including bug fixes and performance enhancements.
- →Partner effectively with designers, researchers, and engineers across different teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
- ✓Significant professional software development experience in JavaScript and 2 or more other programming languages.
- ✓Extensive experience with front-end technologies and modern web application development with modern web libraries and frameworks.
- ✓Experience building prototypes for AI/ML systems, AI-native development tool-chains, and workflows.
- ✓Understanding of the latest methods and tools in AI technologies, with a strong POV on building usable and innovative UIs.
- ✓Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
