About the Role
We are looking for a Commercial Business Analyst to join Deliveroo’s BOSS (Business Operations & Supply Strategy) team. This role focuses on transforming complex datasets into actionable guidance for commercial teams and leadership, helping to drive partner growth and optimize commercial strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- →Analyse large, complex datasets to identify drivers across supply, demand, pricing, promotions, and operations
- →Develop practical recommendations to help Account Managers improve partner performance
- →Translate analytical findings into compelling narratives and strategic recommendations for Sales and Commercial Leadership
- →Track industry trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive moves to anticipate future risks and opportunities
- →Measure the efficiency of sales effectiveness, account coverage, and portfolio strategies to drive better ROI
- →Build robust reporting and analytical frameworks (using Looker) to support decision-making
- →Partner closely with Sales and Ops teams as a bridge between data and real-world execution
Requirements
- ✓4–5 years of experience in business analysis, commercial analytics, or strategy within a data-rich environment
- ✓Advanced Excel skills for complex modelling
- ✓Experience using SQL to extract and manipulate data (strong plus)
- ✓Proven experience with Looker or similar BI platforms to create scalable, automated reporting
- ✓Ability to move seamlessly from granular detail to the big picture, translating numbers into sound commercial decisions
- ✓Clear verbal and written skills, with the ability to adapt your style for different seniority levels
- ✓A self-starter attitude with the ability to identify causal relationships and quantify impact in an ambiguous environment
