About the Role

We are looking for a Strategy & Operations Manager to join our Growth, Cost & Quality team within the New Verticals Strategy & Operations department at Deliveroo. This role involves shaping strategy to drive growth in the on-demand grocery and retail market, with a focus on high-impact strategic problem solving and seeing real-world impact.

Key Responsibilities

→Lead the definition and execution of strategies to accelerate growth across the New Verticals portfolio
→Spearhead strategic projects from problem framing to successful delivery and impact
→Oversee complex quantitative analysis and financial modelling, translating numbers into high-stakes recommendations
→Lead cross-functional teams (Product, Commercial, Marketing, Engineering) to operationalise new initiatives
→Manage the New Verticals performance framework, including annual planning, OKR-setting, and weekly/monthly business reviews

Requirements

✓4-6+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, finance, or high-growth operations
✓Proven track record of leading complex projects and influencing senior stakeholders
✓Expert-level problem-solving and analytical skills
✓Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
✓London-based with a minimum of three days per week in the office
