About the Role
We are seeking a Retail Account Manager to join our team. This role involves managing client relationships, acquiring new clients, and driving growth in the retail sector.
Key Responsibilities
- βUnderstand the retail landscape and category mix
- βAcquire new clients with healthy commercials in their respective zones
- βFunction as the main contact person for city-wide Client Accounts
- βDevelop and maintain strong relationships with all accounts in the portfolio
- βAnalyze and identify upcoming needs and opportunities
- βNegotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
- βEnsure MoM growth of all assigned accounts
- βCommunicate the progress of Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly initiatives to stakeholders
- βPrepare reports on Commercial Metrics, Operational Metrics, Product Mix, and Marketing Campaigns
- βForecast and track key account metrics
- βDesign exclusive marketing campaigns, partnerships, and co-branding activities
- βSupport cross-functional teams in delivering strategy
- βHandle additional tasks and projects as they arise
Requirements
- βBachelor's Degree in Business Administration or relevant field
- βGood understanding of the retail landscape of Pakistan
- βAcute sense of responsibility and ability to take full ownership
- βAt least 2-3 years of experience in the relevant field
- βProcess-oriented and data-driven
- βExperience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, or Google equivalents
- βSolid knowledge of the internet and e-commerce sector
- βDriven and ambitious
- βProactive and capable of leading independent projects
- βAbility to perform root cause analysis and build process flows
- βDetail-oriented and attentive to all steps in the process
