About the Role
We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our team. This role involves providing comprehensive IT support to internal users, ensuring their technical issues are resolved efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- βCommunicate with users via chat, face-to-face, and emails to determine the nature of any problems they encounter.
- βEnsure internal users have their IT issues resolved, including onsite and remote support if needed.
- βEnsure onboarding and offboarding activities and processes are properly tracked and followed.
- βTroubleshoot enterprise IT software and hardware issues.
- βSet up accounts for staff, ensuring all platforms used by the company are installed.
- βMaintain and outperform KPIs/SLAs and CSAT scores.
- βUnderstand the importance of tasks assigned and effectively prioritize work according to business criticality.
- βBusiness travel may be required within local markets.
- βLog and track internal user IT issues to ensure prompt resolution.
- βOwn it end-to-end in technical capabilities.
- βAdminister, plan, and install Windows and Mac systems.
- βInstall and configure computer hardware, software, printers, door access, and CCTV.
- βPerform basic network troubleshooting.
- βTake part in scheduled maintenance/projects such as office builds, network, and miscellaneous physical extensions of the foodpanda business.
- βSupport audio/visual requirements for the site, including meeting rooms, events, and ad-hoc setups.
- βScale IT through governance.
- βAssist in managing the companyβs IT assets and ensure assets are tracked throughout their lifecycle.
- βKeep proper records of all tickets and their resolution in the ticketing tool based on tickets received from users and provide solutions to users.
- βUnderstand processes and procedures and add value in decision-making, consulting seniors when and if necessary.
- βParticipate and be involved in the execution of steps to address security incidents, where necessary.
- βActively help implement changes within their domain.
- βFocus on continuous improvement.
Requirements
- βStrong communication skills to interact effectively with users.
- βProficiency in Windows and Mac systems.
- βExperience with network troubleshooting and hardware installation.
- βAbility to prioritize tasks and manage multiple issues simultaneously.
- βUnderstanding of IT governance and asset management.
- βExperience with ticketing systems and maintaining records.
