About the Role
We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our Quick Commerce team at Delivery Hero. This role focuses on building technology that scales our non-food offerings and delivers amazing customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- →Experiment and deploy AI/ML models/Agents to automate products images recognition at scale
- →Drive experimentation: formulate hypotheses, validate model performance, analyze business impact, and turn insights into production-ready models
- →Develop and provide ML models to intelligently recognize products based on their images, extracting product details and categorization
- →Keep up to date with state-of-the-art models (e.g., NLP, deep learning, control vision, classification, LLMs/AI agents)
- →Collaborate closely with MLEs and Engineers to ensure scalable, reliable, and fast solutions in production
- →Contribute to the long-term vision of products image recognition while delivering short-term wins with measurable business impact
Requirements
- ✓Strong background in applied ML, particularly in Computer Vision
- ✓Experience building reliable and scalable image recognition systems
- ✓Ability to drive hypotheses and validate model accuracy
- ✓Strong coding skills with a problem-solving mentality
- ✓Experience with high-scale applied ML problems
