About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT Operations team. This role involves overseeing the launch and maintenance of our Dark Store and Kitchen infrastructure, requiring advanced technical expertise and strong project management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- →Provide technical expertise to junior engineers and resolve technical conflicts within the team.
- →Lead infrastructure projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess infrastructure needs and develop scalable solutions.
- →Participate in the interview process for new engineers.
- →Design and implement complex network solutions including Network Segmentation, Zero-Trust Architecture, LAN/WAN, and SD-WAN.
- →Proactively identify and address potential issues within the infrastructure.
- →Act as the primary technical escalation point for complex outages.
- →Author RFCs and ADRs for major infrastructure changes.
- →Lead cross-team POCs to evaluate and test new hardware/software solutions.
Requirements
- ✓Extensive experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-level IT infrastructure solutions.
- ✓Proficiency in networking concepts including TCP/IP, BGP/OSPF, VLANs, and Subnetting.
- ✓Expert proficiency in configuring and managing Fortinet Security Fabric and SD-WAN architecture.
- ✓Proficiency in installing and configuring monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
- ✓Deep knowledge of CCTV systems including NVR storage calculations and AI analytics.
- ✓Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker/Podman) and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- ✓Familiarity with scripting (Python, Bash) and automation tools.
- ✓Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- ✓Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate team members.
- ✓Willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies quickly in a fast-paced startup environment.
- ✓Effective prioritization skills to manage multiple site launches simultaneously.
- ✓Understanding of business processes with the ability to align infrastructure initiatives with strategic goals.
- ✓Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- ✓Ability to assess and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
