About the Role
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the Tolling Services team at Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Hungary. This role involves supporting electronic road-charging solutions and working with international customers on kilometer-based tolling systems.
Key Responsibilities
- →Designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
- →Supporting Java-based build systems with Maven, including debugging build issues
- →Managing artifacts and dependencies using Artifactory
- →Building and maintaining Docker images, including base images and Jib usage
- →Operating and supporting Kubernetes-based platforms, including Helm chart modifications and basic cluster diagnostics
- →Supporting AWS EKS environments, including basic IAM-related tasks
- →Monitoring, log analysis, and troubleshooting CI/CD and cluster-level issues
- →Identifying CI/CD system failures and performing rebuilds and fixes
- →Supporting release management processes across the full release lifecycle
- →Implementing automation via scripting and API usage (e.g., Jira/Confluence)
- →Maintaining dependency vulnerability scanning and update practices
- →Writing and maintaining basic automated tests (unit tests)
Requirements
- ✓Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins
- ✓Knowledge of Java and Maven build systems
- ✓Familiarity with Artifactory for artifact management
- ✓Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- ✓Understanding of AWS EKS and IAM
- ✓Scripting and automation skills
- ✓Basic knowledge of testing frameworks
