About the Role
We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to join our team at DevRev. This role involves working closely with our Customer Experience team to develop solutions over our core platform using technologies like TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python. A key function of this role is building the Knowledge Graph, which includes integrating DevRev with other systems through webhooks and APIs.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build and deploy solutions that connect DevRev with customers' existing tech stacks and workflows
- →Integrate systems through APIs, webhooks, and real-time communication architectures
- →Optimize AI performance using prompt engineering and generative AI techniques
- →Write SQL queries and perform data analysis to build dashboards
- →Develop rapid proofs-of-concept and conduct live technical demos
- →Lead cross-functional collaboration with various teams
- →Guide customers through technical workflows and configurations
- →Travel up to 30% for on-site implementations and customer engagements
Requirements
- ✓3+ years in software development, systems integration, or platform engineering
- ✓Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- ✓Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, and data structures
- ✓Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and prompt engineering
- ✓Experience with API integration patterns and event-driven architectures
- ✓Hands-on experience with serverless and edge platforms
- ✓Skills in data mapping, schema alignment, and graph data structures
- ✓Experience with observability and telemetry
- ✓Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- ✓Experience writing technical documentation
