Job Title: Legal Case Assistant (Medical & Records Specialist) We are seeking a proactive, highly organized Legal Case Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be the "engine room" of our cases, responsible for gathering the critical evidence, records, and documentation needed to build a winning strategy for our clients.
The ideal candidate is a persistent communicator who thrives on crossing items off a to-do list and providing exceptional support to both our legal team and our clients.
Key Responsibilities Evidence Gathering: Proactively contact medical providers, insurance companies, and police departments to request and secure vital records and billing statements.
Persistent Follow-up: Execute consistent follow-up calls to ensure all requested documentation is received in a timely manner.
Data Management: Accurately organize and upload all incoming documents into our case management software, ensuring a "paperless" and efficient workflow.
Drafting & Correspondence: Prepare initial legal documents, including Letters of Representation (LORs) and client welcome letters.
Communication Support: Provide high-quality translation for client calls and assist the front desk with incoming phone traffic as needed.
