HTC is seeking aοΏ½Sales & Channel Marketing ManagerοΏ½to drive digital channel growth, support revenue generation, and execute end-to-end commercial initiatives across retail, e-commerce, and partner ecosystems. This role blends channel marketing strategy with hands-on sales enablement and operational execution, ensuring seamless alignment from marketing planning through deal closure and deployment.
The ideal candidate is both strategic and execution-oriented, comfortable optimizing digital storefronts, supporting sales pipelines, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced global environment.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
β’ Marketing & Sales (Channel & Digital Marketing: Planning and Execution of Channel-Specific Digital Initiatives)
β’ Plan, place, and operate optimal digital assets by sales channel (e.g., Amazon, distributor channels, direct sales, etc.)
β’ Optimize product detail pages (messaging structure, images/videos, A+ Content, comparison charts, FAQs, etc.)
β’ Design visibility and customer journeys (Brand Store, campaign linkage, etc.)
β’ Run a continuous PDCA cycle (update plan, performance review, ongoing improvements)
β’ Sync with retail/channel partners: co-develop promotional themes, arrange assets, and manage execution
β’ Sync with Global Marketing: localize strategy/messages/assets for Japan and provide feedback to Global
β’ Plan and direct production of partner-facing marketing collateral (brochures/one-pagers, etc.), including production management, proofreading, and delivery
β’ Sales Enablement (Sales: Driving Revenue Conversion)
β’ Own initial lead intake: conduct customer needs discovery and coordinate/escalate to internal stakeholders (Product/Engineering, CS, Logistics, Finance, etc.)
β’ Develop the proposal storyline, sales materials, and quotations, and drive deal progression in parallel with the Sales Lead
β’ Align commercial and operational terms with partners/retailers (commercial flow, pricing, lead time, inventory, operations, support scope, etc.)
β’ Manage the pipeline (define next actions, remove blockers, and visualize progress)
β’ Coordinate with Global Sales/HQ to align and finalize assumptions for pricing, supply, and support conditions
β’ Deal Execution (Order to Deployment/Sales: Execution from Order to Go-Live)
β’ Drive procedures for PO, invoicing, acceptance, etc., and shorten lead time by clearing bottlenecks
β’ Serve as the hub from delivery through deployment and go-live (coordination across customer/partner/internal teams)
β’ Handle initial triage of implementation issues/complaints, support root-cause separation, and drive closure
β’ Maintain execution quality for existing accounts and enable repeat business (identify operational issues and propose improvements)
β’ Standardization & Other Duties (Operational Excellence: Process Standardization and Miscellaneous)
β’ Eliminate dependence on individuals by standardizing recurring work (templates, checklists, procedures)
β’ Provide lightweight reporting on progress, workload, and bottlenecks (weekly/monthly cadence)
β’ Support other coordination and related tasks associated with the above
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Abilities)
β’ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
β’ 5+ years of experience in channel marketing, digital marketing, sales operations, or go-to-market roles within consumer tech, e-commerce, or retail-driven environments
β’ Proven experience managing digital assets and marketing execution across multiple sales channels that include Amazon, distributors, retail partners, direct-to-consumer
β’ Hands-on experience optimizing product detail pages, brand stores, and conversion-driven digital content (A+ content, visuals, messaging structures, etc.)
β’ Strong understanding of channel marketing strategy, customer journey design, and performance-driven campaign execution
β’ Experience collaborating with global and regional stakeholders to localize marketing strategies and drive market-specific execution
β’ Demonstrated ability to support the full sales cycle, including lead intake, proposal development, pipeline tracking, and deal execution
β’ Experience working with major e-commerce platforms such as Amazon Seller/Vendor Central or similar marketplace ecosystems
β’ Background in consumer electronics, XR/AR/VR, gaming, or emerging technology industries
β’ Familiarity with digital analytics tools, performance dashboards, and PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) optimization cycles
β’ Experience creating partner-facing marketing collateral and sales enablement materials
β’ Understanding of retail channel economics, pricing strategy, and inventory planning
β’ Experience working in global or cross-cultural environments, particularly with HQ/regional collaboration
β’ Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, scaling environment
β’ Experience coordinating cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Logistics, Finance, Customer Success, etc.) to move deals from proposal through deployment
β’ Strong project management and operational execution skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and timelines
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
