About the Role

We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join ARQ, a fast-growing fintech company redefining how people interact with money across borders. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems that power innovative financial products.

Key Responsibilities

→Focus on greenfield development and improvement of existing systems
→Build REST APIs, engineer microservices, and evolve critical business systems
→Work with technologies including Java, Postgres, Spring Boot, and CI/CD
→Apply clean code principles with TDD, DDD, and continuous integration & delivery

Requirements

✓5+ years of experience in Backend development with fluency in Java
✓Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering/Science
✓Excellent communication skills with English fluency
✓Track record of building complex products in hypergrowth startups
