About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Data Governance Analyst to contribute to enterprise-wide data governance initiatives. This role plays a key part in supporting the consistency, clarity, and usability of data across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- →Assist in scheduling and documenting stakeholder interviews
- →Capture initial definitions of KPIs, metrics, and business terms
- →Help facilitate workshops and take notes to support alignment efforts
- →Populate and update metadata repositories or data catalogs under supervision
- →Ensure definitions are tagged correctly and follow naming conventions
- →Assist in documenting table relationships and entity mappings
- →Support the creation of basic Python scripts/Databricks Metric View for metric calculations
- →Apply existing governance policies to new data assets
- →Create simple flowcharts, diagrams, and documentation for internal use
Requirements
- ✓Foundational experience in data management
- ✓Working knowledge of data modeling and analytics tools
- ✓Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- ✓Basic understanding of Python scripting
- ✓Familiarity with data governance principles and practices
