About the Role
We are looking for a Data Engineer / Data Architect to lead the modernization of legacy data and reporting platforms at scale. This hands-on role will focus on automation-led transformation, migrating data pipelines from Informatica to Databricks, and building scalable architecture patterns.
Key Responsibilities
- →Assess legacy data and reporting workloads to identify automation opportunities
- →Lead the migration of Informatica-based data workloads to Databricks
- →Design and execute an automation-first modernization strategy for data pipelines and analytics platforms
- →Apply tool-assisted and AI-assisted techniques to accelerate modernization
- →Build repeatable frameworks for data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration
- →Establish governance for consistent, auditable, and scalable modernization efforts
- →Partner with distributed data teams to scale modernization patterns
- →Provide hands-on technical leadership and execution
Requirements
- ✓10+ years in data engineering and/or data architecture
- ✓Proven track record of modernizing large-scale legacy data environments
- ✓Hands-on experience migrating Informatica pipelines to modern platforms
- ✓Experience with automation frameworks and AI-assisted tools
- ✓Hands-on experience with Azure, Cloudera, and Power BI
- ✓Strong experience designing and operating ETL/ELT pipelines
- ✓Deep understanding of data quality and validation frameworks
- ✓Experience in large-scale or regulated enterprise environments
