About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Brokerage Platform as a Service and API teams at DriveWealth. In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of our back office platform on cloud using Java, Kafka, and Postgres. You'll work on building event-driven microservices to handle high volumes of accounts and transactions in real-time with low latency.

Key Responsibilities

→Develop and maintain Java applications focused on high-performance, scalable, and resilient systems
→Build event-driven microservices using messaging systems like Kafka
→Work on multi-threaded programming for optimal system performance
→Integrate and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery
→Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and system stability
→Optimize system performance and troubleshoot latency or throughput issues
→Ensure high availability and fault tolerance for critical services
→Contribute to technical discussions and share knowledge with peers

Requirements

✓3-5 years of experience in software development with a focus on Java and relational databases
✓Solid understanding of software engineering foundations including data structures, algorithms, and databases
✓Exposure to multi-threading and concurrent programming
✓Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging systems like Kafka
✓Understanding of database partitioning and sharding techniques
✓Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and platforms like AWS
✓Experience with CI/CD tools and automated software delivery practices
✓Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting performance bottlenecks
✓Experience with automated testing frameworks
✓Collaborative mindset and good communication skills
