About the Role
We are looking for passionate Full Stack Software Developers to join our team at DRW. You will develop critical software that our traders, researchers, and engineering teams use to implement and analyze our algorithmic trading strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- →Building scalable and performant software using software engineering best practices
- →Analyzing requirements from traders and analysts for algorithmic trading
- →Facilitating discussions on code implementation, testing, and software architecture best practices
- →Driving projects and leading new initiatives
- →Actively engaging with others on the development team to resolve challenging design and coding issues
Requirements
- ✓A Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
- ✓3 to 7 years of experience building software systems
- ✓Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices
- ✓Self-directed, proactive, and able to drive work forward independently
- ✓Good knowledge and experience in at least 1 of the following: JavaScript/TypeScript, NodeJs, React, and Python
- ✓Strong verbal and written communication skills
- ✓Dedicated team player and a passionate problem solver with strong interpersonal skills
- ✓Experience with technologies such as Redis, RabbitMQ, GraphQL, MongoDB, Docker, WebSocket, AMQP, TCP, HTTP is an asset
- ✓Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle) is an asset
