About the Role
We are seeking an Airfield Engineer to provide engineering and client management services for General Aviation and Commercial Service Airports. This role involves supporting engineering teams in executing airfield design projects from concept to construction.
Key Responsibilities
- โPerform a wide array of airfield-related engineering and client management services
- โSupport a team of Engineers and Draftsmen in producing airfield design projects
- โCoordinate and contribute to the production and review of technical design documents
- โDesign airfield geometry including horizontal and vertical design of runways, taxiways, and aprons
- โPrepare construction phasing plans and support airport master planning
- โAnalyze GIS data, client as-built, survey data, and geotechnical data
- โCoordinate with other disciplines like pavement, drainage, and structures
Requirements
- โProficiency with design software packages such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and AviPLAN
- โStrong understanding of airfield engineering principles and practices
- โExperience with airport master planning and airfield configurations
- โExcellent written and spoken English skills for report writing and presentations
