About the Role
Our highway engineering team delivers a diverse range of MTO design projects, encompassing highway expansion, interchange design, roadway rehabilitation, and bridge rehabilitation/replacements. We focus on serving the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) with precision and expertise to ensure the safe and efficient flow of traffic across Ontario's road networks.
Key Responsibilities
- →Act as a project manager on multidiscipline detail design highway and bridge projects for MTO
- →Provide mentorship, support, and oversight to other engineers and technical staff
- →Support and lead a project team to complete designs for various facilities including freeways, urban and rural multi-lane and two-lane facilities, interchanges, and intersections
- →Ensure corporate and client QA/QC practices are completed on all projects
- →Coordinate with clients, approval agencies, utility companies, contractors, and other stakeholders
- →Develop and maintain relationships with industry professionals, consultants, and business leaders
- →Prepare proposals, project work plans, schedules, and budgets
- →Monitor overall work progress and technical performance to ensure timelines and targets are met
Requirements
- ✓Experience in highway engineering project management
