About the Role
We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join the Platform Engineering department at Elastic. This role involves designing, building, and scaling a multi-cloud platform for hosting internal and external services, including Elastic Cloud Hosted and Serverless. You will develop and extend software and tools to support infrastructure, ensuring rapid deployment of products across Elastic.
Key Responsibilities
- βLead technical initiatives for automating system engineering efforts to guarantee the reliability of the global Elastic infrastructure.
- βGrow the global Platform infrastructure to meet increasing scaling demands by developing and maintaining software, tooling, and automations.
- βChampion an environment focused on collaboration, operational excellence, and uplifting others.
- βRespond to and prevent repeated customer impact in response to major incidents and prioritized problem management.
Requirements
- βExperience in software engineering and collaboration with engineers to identify, implement, and deliver solutions.
- βBackground in public cloud and managed Kubernetes services.
- βPassion for developing solutions that involve inclusive communication methods to grow and strengthen partner and team relationships.
