About the Role
We are looking for a Back End Developer to focus on core payment gateway backend development within a direct acquirer environment. The developer will design and maintain secure, high-availability systems that integrate with Visa, Mastercard, and other card schemes, ensuring compliance with PCI-DSS and scheme mandates.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and maintain secure, high-availability payment gateway systems
- →Integrate with Visa, Mastercard, and other card schemes
- →Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS and scheme mandates
- →Develop and maintain backend systems for transaction processing
- →Troubleshoot high-severity transaction failures in live environments
- →Collaborate with QA, Frontend, business teams, and scheme representatives
Requirements
- ✓Backend development experience in payment systems (POS & E-Commerce)
- ✓Experience working with scheme specifications, ISO messaging, and compliance mandates
- ✓Strong programming capability in C++ for backend system development
- ✓Ability to develop and maintain shell scripts in Linux environments
- ✓Deployment, troubleshooting, and performance tuning in Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments
- ✓Schema design, performance tuning, and query optimization in transactional systems
- ✓Strong troubleshooting and production support experience
