About the Role
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team in Costa Rica. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using JavaScript.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using JavaScript to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
- →Collaborate closely with developers, product managers and QA teams to define test strategies and ensure proper test coverage.
- →Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster release cycles.
- →Analyze test results, identify defects and work with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Requirements
- ✓Strong experience in test automation using JavaScript.
- ✓Experience working as an SDET, Automation QA Engineer or similar testing role.
- ✓Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test strategies and quality assurance processes.
- ✓Experience with test automation frameworks and tools for web applications.
- ✓Experience creating and maintaining automated test suites for frontend and backend systems.
- ✓Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into continuous integration environments.
- ✓Basic knowledge of web technologies such as JavaScript, APIs and client server architecture.
- ✓Experience working with version control systems such as Git.
- ✓Strong analytical and problem solving skills to identify and troubleshoot defects.
- ✓Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross functional teams.
