About the Role
We are seeking a Senior SOC Analyst to join our security operations team. This role involves mentoring junior analysts and developing key security processes.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop and maintain SOC processes, playbooks, and standard operating procedures
- →Monitor and analyze security events to detect and respond to threats
- →Ensure timely responses to security events including root cause analysis and recovery
- →Collect and analyze forensic artifacts to identify malicious activity
- →Integrate threat intelligence into SOC operations
- →Oversee creation of detection rules aligned with MITRE ATT&CK Framework
- →Lead efforts to enhance detection capabilities
Requirements
- ✓7+ years of security operations experience
- ✓Proficiency with Splunk SPL, PowerShell, and API
- ✓Knowledge of network and endpoint security, threat intelligence, and vulnerabilities
- ✓Understanding of sandbox and malware analysis
- ✓Knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, IPS, and networking
- ✓Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC Security Operations Certified
- ✓Pragmatic problem solver with strong organizational skills
- ✓High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
- ✓Ability to communicate complex security issues effectively
