About the Role
We are seeking a Network Operations Engineer to manage and monitor network infrastructure across multiple environments. This role involves incident management, problem resolution, and ensuring service continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- →Drive Problem tickets to prevent recurring issues
- →Ensure tickets have required information and approvals
- →Handle incidents and requests according to SLAs
- →Resolve tasks within given SLAs and ensure team adherence
- →Own escalated incidents from IT Service Desk, Retail Service Desk, or SOC
- →Monitor network alerts and escalate issues to appropriate teams
- →Manage maintenance windows for 300+ ISP links
- →Handle Retail issues using the Meraki Dashboard
- →Work with ScrubbingCenter providers for Cisco ThousandEyes alerts
- →Monitor network infrastructure across all environments
- →Assist in regulatory audits and security compliance
- →Simplify and standardize configurations and automate tasks
- →Conduct monitoring and capacity planning activities
- →Support debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- →Support day-to-day business work including projects and tasks
- →Maintain and use Linux-based monitoring and management systems
Requirements
- ✓Experience with network infrastructure monitoring
- ✓Knowledge of SLA management and incident resolution
- ✓Familiarity with Cisco ThousandEyes and Meraki Dashboard
- ✓Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
- ✓Experience with Linux-based systems
- ✓Ability to work in night shifts and monthly rotational shifts
