About the Role
We are looking for an experienced State and Local Government Account Manager to join Esri’s team. This role involves working with state and local government customers to optimize and expand adoption of Esri technology, identify new growth areas, and share expertise that helps deliver on their mission.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build relationships with customers and develop location strategies for organizations
- →Demonstrate industry knowledge and its relevance to GIS applications
- →Conduct research and pursue professional development to anticipate customer needs
- →Execute account management and sales processes for all opportunities
- →Collaborate with teams across Esri to define and execute account strategies
Requirements
- ✓3+ years of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience
- ✓Experience creating partnerships and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor
- ✓Understanding of account management, account planning, and opportunity strategy creation
- ✓Demonstrated knowledge of state and local government and new technology trends
- ✓Ability to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling
- ✓Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field
