About the Role
Esri’s Professional Services division is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to advance geospatial data quality capabilities across the ArcGIS platform. This role involves designing and developing software that helps GIS professionals power their organizations' operations.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop Python-based machine learning components for spatial data quality assessment
- →Build software following industry-standard design patterns and development methodologies
- →Design, develop, test, and integrate AI/ML algorithms for product releases
- →Build scalable ML pipelines and data engineering processes
- →Collaborate with product engineers, researchers, and domain experts
- →Work in an Agile Scrum team environment
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of professional experience in a similar position
- ✓Strong understanding of object-oriented principles, software architecture, and API design
- ✓Ability to analyze software/algorithms and identify improvements
- ✓Experience with Python, ML frameworks, and RAG systems
- ✓Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or STEM related field
