About the Role
We are looking for a conversion-focused copywriter to join Ethos, a leading life insurance technology company. This role requires expertise in paid social and direct response copywriting to drive measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own paid social copy across Meta and all major platforms with focus on conversion and performance.
- →Lead direct response copy strategy, developing frameworks and messaging that drive measurable results.
- →Write and iterate on high volumes of ad copy variants using performance data to inform decisions.
- →Develop scripts for UGC-style content and influencer briefs that align with direct response principles.
- →Contribute to broadcast/connected TV spots when campaigns require it.
- →Partner with creative and growth teams to align copy strategy with audience targeting and channel objectives.
- →Review performance dashboards regularly to extract insights and optimize creative.
- →Collaborate with cross-functional partners to maintain consistent brand voice across channels.
Requirements
- ✓5-6 years of copywriting experience, with focus on paid social and direct response.
- ✓Deep fluency in DR copywriting principles.
- ✓A portfolio showcasing paid social performance work: scroll-stopping hooks, high-converting ad copy, and UGC/influencer scripts.
- ✓Experience writing for short-form video formats across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.
- ✓Strong analytical instincts and comfort with performance dashboards.
- ✓Experience in fintech, SaaS, or subscription categories is a plus.
- ✓TV or long-form video scripting experience.
- ✓Collaborative approach and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- ✓Strong communication and presentation skills.
