About the Role
Ethos is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead our expansion into new insurance- and insurance-adjacent products. This role focuses on identifying market opportunities and developing new insurance products to expand our total addressable market and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead market research to identify unserved or underserved insurance shopper segments
- →Determine best-fit insurance products based on consumer needs
- →Understand how independent insurance agents select products for their customers
- →Collaborate with Risk and Actuarial teams to partner with insurance carriers
- →Work with platform and UX teams to integrate new products into our digital experience
- →Optimize the consumer experience for existing insurance products
- →Develop go-to-market strategies aligned with new and existing products
- →Create a clear and compelling vision for a specific product area
- →Launch new products in collaboration with partners
- →Optimize our portfolio of life insurance experiences
- →Ensure alignment across cross-functional teams
Requirements
- ✓Minimum 5 years of experience analyzing consumer and market needs
- ✓Strong analytical orientation with ability to derive insights from data
- ✓Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and work cross-functionally
- ✓Sense of urgency and ability to achieve impact in fast-paced environments
- ✓Track record of growing products or businesses
- ✓Solid design and technical understanding
- ✓STEM undergraduate and/or master’s degree (preferred)
- ✓Prior insurance experience (preferred)
