About the Role
Ethos is seeking an SRE Engineer to enhance service reliability, automation, and observability. This role involves collaborating with engineering teams to improve application maturity and production readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- →Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance application reliability and performance
- →Assist with automation, continuous integration, and delivery of applications and configurations
- →Help teams design solid foundations and best practices for production environments
- →Support teams in implementing infrastructure-level dependencies
- →Assist in identifying, designing, and monitoring service-level indicators (SLI) and objectives (SLO)
- →Design and implement resilient tools, resources, infrastructure, and processes
Requirements
- ✓4+ years of software engineering experience in relevant roles
- ✓Experienced with software engineering best practices
- ✓Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- ✓Strong interpersonal skills
- ✓Desire to remove toil from systems
- ✓Preferred background in distributed systems and infrastructure
- ✓Preferred experience in TypeScript, GoLang, Python, PostgreSQL, AWS
- ✓Preferred experience with Kubernetes and Kubernetes operators
- ✓Preferred knowledge of CI/CD systems
- ✓Preferred experience with Terraform, argoCD, Atlantis, GitHub Actions, and DataDog
