About the Role
We are looking for a Data Steward to collaborate with a client to help manage cradle-to-grave activities of laboratory equipment. This role involves managing equipment acquisition and disposition processes while ensuring compliance with lab safety and financial policies.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work with Capital Assets Group (CAS) and Finance to complete inventory audits and summarize results
- →Monitor and manage data integrity throughout the life cycle for capital laboratory equipment
- →Run defined reports from inventory database/dashboards and analyze output to determine actions needed
- →Process ledger master data changes and disposition requests in an IT application
- →Follow up with scientists in labs to reconcile data discrepancies
- →Work with multiple stakeholder groups to refine SOPs and dashboards
- →Conduct additional analytics for replacement planning and tracking
- →Accurately record quote line-item details and assign capital asset information
- →Review asset disposition requests for accuracy
- →Facilitate completion of disposition-related ledger transactions
- →Generate communications for asset disposition completion
