About the Role
We are seeking a Corepoint Interface Engineer to design, develop, and maintain interfaces that enable data exchange between hospital systems and laboratory information management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- →Architect, develop, implement and support interfaces for patient and lab data exchange
- →Manage 3-4 concurrent interface projects, completing each within 90 days
- →Handle support tickets for the Corepoint environment
- →Collaborate with clinical laboratory staff, hospital IT teams, and vendors
- →Implement industry-standard protocols like HL7, JSON, and XML
- →Troubleshoot and resolve interface-related issues
- →Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- →Conduct testing and quality assurance for interfaces
- →Monitor and optimize system performance
- →Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations
- →Participate in system upgrades and migrations
- →Communicate project status and issues to stakeholders
Requirements
- ✓Experience with Corepoint interface engine
- ✓Knowledge of HL7, JSON, and XML protocols
- ✓Familiarity with hospital systems (HIS, EHR) and LIMS
- ✓Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- ✓Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- ✓Experience with healthcare data standards and regulations
- ✓Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- ✓Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- ✓Understanding of data exchange and interoperability principles
- ✓Experience with system upgrades and migrations
