About the Role
The Financial Analyst will deliver accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and in-depth financial analysis for business units within the US Environment Business Line. This role partners with business leaders to enhance financial visibility and ensure the integrity of financial results.
Key Responsibilities
- →Provide business units with timely and accurate financial reports, KPIs, and performance metrics
- →Partner with operational leaders to prepare budgets, forecasts, and mid-term financial plans
- →Review and validate month-end preliminary P&Ls; collaborate with the National Service Center (NSC) to ensure necessary adjustments are completed
- →Prepare, review, and validate key accruals to ensure accounting accuracy
- →Deliver clear and insightful monthly financial commentary
- →Analyze financial performance and provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability and cost control
- →Prepare and analyze annual budgets based on historical performance and future expectations
- →Review cost data and identify opportunities for operational efficiency and expense optimization
- →Serve as a trusted financial advisor to business leaders, supporting decision-making with data-driven insights
- →Review capital expenditure (CapEx) requests and investment opportunities; assess financial metrics and return expectations
- →Ensure capital spending is effectively controlled and aligned with strategic objectives
- →Prepare and submit Spending & Contracting Authority (S&CA) deviation forms and related documentation, including financial forecasts
- →Oversee annual inventory counts and fixed asset physical verifications for assigned business units
- →Support accounts receivable collections efforts to help achieve cash flow targets
- →Assist the NSC with cash funding requests to Treasury
- →Distribute and monitor the monthly Invoiced Not Received (INR) report
- →Prepare financial projections for M&A activities
- →Support the financial integration of newly acquired businesses
