About the Role
The TOC Manager is a hands-on technical management position that requires a breadth and depth of technological understanding to ensure progress in both working practices and ongoing support. This role involves managing the TOC team, monitoring IT systems, and escalating business issues.
Key Responsibilities
- →Hands-on management of the TOC team at ECS
- →Senior level knowledge across all enterprise ECS monitoring tools
- →Performing audits on monitoring tools to ensure proper IT enterprise monitoring
- →Proactively working with IT and business to implement specific monitoring
- →Understanding IT applications and services that could impact customers and the business
- →Creating and maintaining documents, procedures, and runbooks
- →Ensuring TOC maintenance notifications are accurate and sent within SLAs
- →Explaining complex IT issues to executive leadership
- →Managing Security vulnerability and SSL certificate activities
- →Overseeing Event Management function including monitoring, processes, and policies
- →Managing TOC Analysts and DevOps Analysts for certificate provisioning and maintenance
- →Professional management capabilities including staffing, scheduling, and team development
- →Availability to cover shifts and work weekends/holidays as needed
- →On-call duties
- →Working with vendors, carriers, and suppliers for service provisioning and maintenance
Requirements
- ✓Senior level knowledge of enterprise monitoring tools
- ✓Experience with SSL certificate management and security vulnerabilities
- ✓Strong understanding of IT applications and services
- ✓Ability to explain complex IT issues clearly
- ✓Professional management experience
- ✓Availability for on-call duties and weekend/holiday work
