About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to scale a critically important function responsible for building and maintaining systems, processes and services that enable us to understand financial performance and unlock key business insights at Faire. This role will ensure key accounting procedures are automated in ways that are accurate, efficient, easy-to-understand, and scalable.
Key Responsibilities
- →Scope, design, create, and manage complex ETL flows that aggregate and synthesize key business performance metrics and financial reporting
- →Act as a trusted analytical partner to the Accounting and Finance teams providing technical expertise and enabling data-driven decision-making
- →Collaborate closely with Engineering, Data Infrastructure, and other stakeholders to deliver impactful data solutions
- →Lead initiatives to drive data strategy, roadmap planning, and prioritization
- →Act as a thought leader to expand the team’s influence and impact throughout the Finance team and the broader organization
- →Drive workflow automation and innovation across Finance, including identifying and implementing Gen-AI–enabled productivity solutions
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of work experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, Data Analytics, or comparable function
- ✓Expert in SQL with focus on data modeling, large-scale data processing, and tool development for analytics or Financial use cases
- ✓Experience and knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETLs, big data technologies, and analytics platforms
- ✓Experience with analytics workflow tools (Airflow, Docker, dbt), data warehousing and storage (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, S3), and data visualization tools (Mode, Tableau, Looker)
